Generate Real Invoice runs entirely in your browser. Invoices, saved clients, saved products, and drafts are stored in your browser's local storage — we don't have a server-side database, and nothing you enter is sent to us.

When you use the "Share invoice" feature, the invoice data is encoded directly into the link you copy or generate as a QR code. Anyone with that link can view the invoice; treat it like you would a PDF attachment. Password protection on a shared link is a basic access gate, not encryption — don't use it for highly sensitive financial data.

Clearing your browser's site data for generaterealinvoice.com will permanently delete anything saved locally. We recommend exporting important invoices to PDF for long-term recordkeeping.
